Second single from Dragonfruit [out 10/30], an EP release from the Auckland, NZ synthpop and dance-pop duo consisting of producer Carl Ruwhiu and singer-songwriter Yery Cho. Produced by Ruwhiu and featuring Auckland rap duo (and NZ Music Awards nominees) Church & AP. Lead single “Somebody Else” streamed upon release on Under the Radar NZ [“spacy synth and trills, held together by a wicked, mix-forward bass line”]. 2019 single “Greensmoke” premiered on Sniffers [“a hazy hotbox”]. Five song EP Vacasian [2017] prompted a 2019 feature article in The Spinoff. Further praise for the set from Beehype [“smooth pop vocals…sunkissed electronic production”]. They’ve played the Laneway Festival.
