Third album from the Singaporean electronic pop and dance music artist Louis Quek, who records as Intriguant. Follows spring 2020 single “Bleu,” a collaboration with fellow Singaporean artist Quite Quiet. Second album Kindred [2019] was called “a sumptuous distillation of house, techno, hip-hop, and bass music” and “a thesis on the recombinant power of dance music” by Bandwagon Asia. Further praise for the artist from Life in Arpeggio [“mastery of the electronic form… dark brooding textures and fidgety rhythms”]. He’s appeared at Neon Lights, the Singapore International Festival of the Arts, and BIGSOUND in Australia.
