The Phoenix, AZ country and rock singer-songwriter covers the 1968 song by Simon & Garfunkel. The single is a collaboration between Courtney Lee Adams, Liz Cooper of the Nashville psychedelic rock band The Stampede, and Molly Sarle of the Bennington, VT folk group Mountain Man. Originally released on the second volume of Fair Fight [2020], a compilation released to benefit the voting rights organization of the same name. Follows seventh Courtney Marie Andrews album Old Flowers [2020], which was called “emotional,” “redemptive,” and “indelible” by Exclaim!, and won further praise in American Songwriter, Consequence of Sound, Under the Radar.
