Full-length release from rapper Yaya Berete, who records as Lil Berete, and who has been called “a Toronto star in the making” by HotNewHipHop. This an expanded version of his March release Icebreaker 2 that contains four extra tracks. The lead single "Murda," which features emerging Louisville rapper 2KBABY and British DJ/producer Unimerce, streamed on HotNewHipHop and The Prelude Press. The second single “War Ready” streamed upon release on HotNewHipHop. The third single "Big Man" features Detroit rapper Sada Baby, whose 2020 single "Whole Lotta Choppas" went viral on TikTok and was later the subject of a remix with Nicki Minaj that reached #35 on the "Billboard Hot 100." The fourth single “No Distractions” is a collaboration with British rapper and singer Nafe Smallz, whose 2020 mixtape DNA (with M Huncho) reached #6 on the UK charts and #2 on the UK R&B chart. Lil Berete has been praised by The FADER and Complex, he’s been the subject of a RapGenius “Cosign” feature, and he’s gotten support from Smoke Dogg, Kenny Beats, and Nav. The videos on his YouTube channel have been viewed 5M+ times.
