APEXAPE continue rise up in the Dance scene ranks; this immensely talented Bristol-DJ and production team draw inspiration from the City’s thriving Drum and Bass, House and Hip-Hop scenes, forging their own unique sound.
Their evocative DJ sets have seen them supporting the likes of Eats Everything, Camelphat, Rudimental and Disclosure, with festival highlights including Glastonbury, Festival No.6, Budafest, Beatherder, and Bestival.
Their 2016 release ‘Joy & Pain’ garnered support from the leading lights of Dance such as Annie Mac, Danny Howard and Pete Tong, and with 100+ specialist plays on Radio 1 and over 2 million streams ‘Joy & Pain’ truly marked Apexape on the map. Since then, they have release don many more beloved imprints such as Toolroom, Armada, Strictly Rhythm and BMG, and most recently the guys brought out ‘Free In Love’ and ‘Passion’.
Both tracks were hot off the mark, with both amassing over 1 million streams combined, receiving strong streaming editorial support, plus backing from Radio 1, KISS FM, and DJs alike, APEXAPE are on a huge upwards trajectory.
Lisa Millet is one of the top vocalists and songwriters in house music today. Lisa has spanned two decades working with a who’s who of dance, from the early years with the likes of Paul Oakenfold and Frankie Knuckles to the present day with DJ Spen, Jamie Lewis and Juan Kidd. She’s also work with ATFC’ hit Bad Habit , this time she teams up with APEXAPE to produce a piano-house-soulful anthem for the Summer!
