Lead single and title track off Dazed EP [out 7/30], a five-track EP from the Manila neo-soul artist and daughter of platinum-selling Christian Filipino pop singer Gary Valenciano [Gary V to his fans]. The entire EP features Los Angeles singer-songwriter Jesse Barrera, who also produced. Her January 2020 single "No Rush," a collaboration with Filipino-Australian producer Billy Davis [Brockhampton, Denzel Curry, NoName], premiered on Complex ["a gently bumping, groove-filled R&B jam with flecks of jazz and funk for Valenciano to lay out her lavish vocals"] and received coverage from Atwood Magazine ["a reassuring breath of fresh air"], Ones To Watch ["instantly captivates"], EARMILK ["a laid back banger"], Substream. Her April 2020 single "Corners" streamed on Bandwagon Asia and Scout Magazine ["your new earworm"]. In July 2020, Kiana was introduced as part of 88rising's Paradise Rising collective alongside other Filipino artists such as Jason Dhakal, Massiah, fern, and Leila Alcasid. As part of Paraside Rising's EP semiluscent, Kiana released the single "Safe Place," which has 1.6M+ streams. Her first single "Does She Know" [2017] has received 10M+ streams. She earned Awit Award nominations for "Best Performance by a Female Artist" in 2019 and 2020.
