First solo album in five years from the Bronx-born musician who was a former guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter for the New York Dolls from 2004-2010 is currently a guitarist and songwriter for Michael Monroe [Hanoi Rocks, Demolition 23]. The lead single "Dog Days Of Summer" [out 8/6], which features his brother, bassist John Conte [Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes] and drummer Charley Drayton [Keith Richards’ X-Pensive Winos, Divinyls, The Replacements], will be the "Coolest Song In The World" on Wicked Cool label boss Steven Van Zandt's syndicated SiriusXM show "Little Steven's Underground Garage" the week after release. Co-produced by Conte and Andrew Hollander [The Chainsmokers, Carly Rae Jepsen, Celine Dion]. In addition to his own projects [Steve Conte and the Crazy Truth, Company of Wolves, and Crown Jewels], Conte has worked with worked with Peter Wolf and Suzi Quatro. He's also worked with Yoko Kanno on various anime soundtracks, including "Cowboy Bebop," "Wolf’s Rain," and "Ghost in the Shell"].
