Live single from the Duluth, MN bluegrass band, recorded at Red Rocks in Colorado in 2020. This concert version of “Alone,” a song first recorded for sixth Trampled by Turtles album Stars and Satellites [2012, #32 "Billboard 200," #1 "Bluegrass Albums," #7 "Independent Albums,” #2 "Folk Albums"], features Athens, OH folk band Caamp. “Alone” was featured at the conclusion of the 2013 film “The Way Way Back.” Caamp and Nashville country-folk singer Erin Rae also appeared at the Red Rocks show, which will be available to watch in its entirety as a livestream during Thanksgiving weekend. Life Is Good on the Open Road [2018], the most recent Trampled by Turtles album, also topped Billboard's "Bluegrass” chart and drew praise from Rolling Stone [“balances delicate ballads and loose, upbeat romps”]. They’ve appeared at Coachella, Bonnaroo, Stagecoach, Bumbershoot, Sasquatch, many other festivals, and their music has been featured in “Deadliest Catch,” “Squidbillies,” “Ray Donovan,” and in the video game “Far Cry 5.” Trampled by Turtles frontman Dave Simonett will open for Caamp in Minneapolis on Nov 19.
