Second single from White Jesus Black Problems [out June 3], the fifth studio album from three-time Grammy winning Oakland, CA blues and roots-rock artist who was called “one of America’s most unique and unusual artists” by American Songwriter. Lead single “Highest Bidder” streamed upon release on SPIN, Louder Sound, The Line of Best Fit. The new set, which will be accompanied by the release of a companion film, was inspired by Fantastic Negrito’s discovery that he is descended from a Scottish indentured servant who fell in love with an African American slave. His fourth album Have You Lost Your Mind Yet? [2020] topped Billboard's “Blues Albums” and included guest appearances from E-40, Tank and the Bangas, Masa Kohama. Praise for the set from Mojo, Classic Rock, AllMusic, Glide. Rolling Stone called his music “modern electric blues as Prince and George Clinton would have it.” He won the inaugural NPR Tiny Desk contest in 2015.
