Fever Dream’ has been in the making for the past two years. The track features a live orchestra and violinist, Kiara Ana. When creating this track, Rival’s idea was to have the song feel like an actual fever dream. The vocals and the drop are two different key levels and switch between each other, hitting at different levels, which represents the “fever dream” stage. Rival states, ““Fever Dream” is about letting yourself fall for someone and how intoxicating it can be, like you’re walking the line somewhere between dreams and reality.”
