After “Giáng Sinh Trong Mơ"", which was released on Christmas of 2021, ""PHONG"" is going to be the next project I want to introduce to everyone. Collaborating with TGSN and Tyronee, this project marks another step of my evolution as an artist - from hnhngan to VSTRA.
This is a project that depicts an intimate look into the changing mind of a strong, confident, and independent woman who had discovered new parts of her personality which were deeply hidden in her soul while she was away from her boyfriend.
When conceptualizing and making the mood board for the Visualizer, I've drawn my inspiration from the Heroine Chic style - popular in the late 80s and early 90s. The characteristic features of the Heroine Chic style are pale, lifeless skin; dark circles under the eyes; gaunt and bony faces; tangled hair.
Through “PHONG”, I want the listener to be able to understand the parallels between the intense feelings I have for my lover - Obito with the intense feeling of euphoria and withdrawal effects associated with drug addiction and drug use.
