Full-length from the Raleigh, NC alternative country band. Produced by Brad Cook [Bon Iver, Indigo De Souza, Waxahatchee]. The new set was written in isolation on Hatteras Island during the pandemic, and confronts the death, loss, and the toll of the global health crisis. In 2021, they released two volumes of ‘90s country covers: albums as Slappers, Bangers & Certified Twangers Vols. 1 & 2. Lamentations [2020] reached #16 on Billboard's “Top Country Albums” and #1 on “Heatseekers.” Praise for the set from Rolling Stone Country, Saving Country Music, PopMatters, Americana Highways.
