A collaboration between indie-rock quintet The New Modern Lights and indietronica up-and-comer Sun Cell, fan favourite single ‘Dreams’ has been remixed with fresh perspective and new electronic flavour. Repurposing elements from the lead single from the former’s debut EP The Distance Between Us, the song’s form is flipped on its head with its signature guitar line now accompanied by intricate trap beats and synth bass drops. Yet, lyrically, the cathartic themes of the original remains, as lead singer Darius Oon laments: ‘She’s always in denial, ' cause she craves for something closer.’
