Returning from a long break after his successful debut EP “LAVIE” and multi-million stream hit “MOT NGUOI VI EM”, WEAN is releasing his first single in 2022 named “Celina” to mark the beginning of a brand new stage in his journey with music.
“CELINA” is WEAN’s first venture from his usual rapper title and showcases his singing capabilities infused with the young and energetic rock elements. The name “CELINA” derives from no particular meaning, in fact, the story in “CELINA” is his own metaphor to describe how WEAN was lost in his creative process. “Em” is how you call a person dearly in Vietnamese and the “Em” in “CELINA” stands for his creativity, his love for music. During this dark time, WEAN struggled to find his thoughts and voice. Luckily, inspirations found WEAN, made him believe in his creative instincts, find freedom in writing music and once again cherish his own musical works.
