After a string of highly successful singles including ‘Cant Get My Head Around It’ ‘On Tonight (feat. Big Skeez)’ and ‘No Time To Waste (feat. Jordan Astra),’ FOURA shares her long-awaited debut mixtape. ‘Taste’ is an eclectic mix of high-energy dance tracks as well as emotive electronic deep-cuts.
The 10 track mixtape opens with ‘Promise,’ featuring NIK NAVY’s soaring vocals amidst plucked synths and shuffling percussion. FOURA’s collaborations with r.em.edy, Big Skeez and Jordan Astra all showcase FOURA’s signature UKG influence, whilst ‘Power,’ ‘Together (feat. Fresh Hex) and ‘Mirrors’ present a grittier, rave-ready side to FOURA’s sound. ‘Can’t Get My Head Around It’ and ‘Glimmer’ round out the mixtape with a sparkly, pop-centric feel.
FOURA explains, “I wanted to share my love of the club from being a DJ for 10 years, and celebrating the pure joy that I get from working with other creatives.”
This year has seen FOURA tour across Australia and India. As a DJ she has played alongside DJ EZ, Conducta, Tokimonsta, Madam X, Troyboi and many more.
