Third single from Alpha Zulu [out Nov. 4], the seventh album by the Grammy-winning Versailles, France indie pop band. Recorded at the Louvre Museum in Paris. Follows single “Tonight,” which features guest vocals from Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig. Title track “Alpha Zulu” topped Billboard “Adult Alternative.” Press for the single from Rolling Stone, SPIN, Pitchfork. MTV Bop Shop described the song as “not an ounce of fat, sparkly, yet low-key menacing in its minor-key excitement.” Fourth album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix [2009] won the Grammy for “Best Alternative Album.” They’re touring North America in September and October, and the UK and EU in November.
