‘remember a stranger’ is the debut studio album by dream-pop quintet motifs, recorded in early 2022. After writing the songs over the pandemic, the band connected with Leonard Soosay of Snakeweed Studios who comes onboard as a producer. Remember a Stranger straddles two themes - 'fading memories' and 'coping with loss'. Many of the songs were inspired by lead singer Elspeth Ong's memories of adolescence.
