EDM HEAVYWEIGHT LIKE MIKE TEAMS UP WITH ASHER SWISSA ON ‘AWAKING’
Like Mike is back for his 3rd solo release this year, this time he lends a hand from Israeli psytrance pioneer Asher Swissa to produce a psychedelic yet hard-hitting future house anthem.
The pair combine effortlessly, seamlessly incorporating their own individual sounds to create a dynamic and versatile piece of music that transcends space and time via the thought provoking and robotic vocal track. The pair use their unique sonic profiles and marry them into a future house track that perfectly encapsulates the differences in their influences in to one coherent track that lends sounds from psytrance and big room.
Like Mike, half of the worldwide superstar DJ/producer/label boss duo with brother Dimitri Vegas, has made himself a household name over the course of his long and lucrative career. From anthems like ‘Mammoth’ and ‘Higher Place’ with Ne-Yo, to releasing his debut solo album ‘Pain, Love & What Comes After’ in 2021, Like Mike has achieved just about everything you can achieve in the industry and is still only young. There is just no telling how far he can take his career and ‘Awaking’ is definitely a sign that Like Mike has no intentions of taking his foot off the gas.
Asher Swissa, a new alias birthed by Skazi, is a successful DJ, producer, performer and TV personality from Israel who is mostly known for his pioneering work in the psytrance world.
