Anuel AA, the trap superstar known for songs such as 'China,' 'Ella Quiere Beber,' and 'Hipócrita,' presents his much anticipated new album, 'LLNM2'. The project comes as a follow up to last year's 'Las Leyendas Nunca Mueren' which debuted at #1 on Billboard charts. In 'LLNM2', Anuel sets out to approach "legends" in a new way, shifting away from the imagery and reference of universally-recognized figures, such as Michael Jordan, and leaning into his personal heroes and people that have influenced his art and career in a direct way. He achieves this by collaborating with many of these "legends" on the album which includes guests such as Nicky Jam, Kodak Black, Ñengo Flow, Bryant Myers, Jowell & Randy, Foreign Teck, among others. In other instances he opts for including formative pieces of music such as Gilberto Santa Rosa's iconic "Me Volvieron a Hablar de Ella" on the track "Sufro" and a powerful Mob Deep beat on the album intro which also alludes to the soundtrack to Eminem's '8 Mile'.
Overall, the 33-track album is an experience for the genre but is also born out of a very personal need to rely on music as a form of therapy for Anuel whom over the past year has been faced with a myriad of personal and professional challenges which, in his own words, have resulted in him "losing everything and starting over." 'LLNM2' is Anuel's most intimate and honest album yet, giving fans a peek into his recent struggles and his journey toward ultimate peace. In his own words on track 11– "Hoy no me siento cabron, me siento hijo'eputa".
