Following on from stand alone singles ‘Oceans’ and ‘So Settled’ in 2017, ‘Set It Off, Set It Right’ marks the first taste of new music in 5 years from the Sydney/Los Angeles based musical duo, Vallis Alps. Built off the back of writing trips and recording sessions across Seattle, New York, Los Angeles and Sydney in 2018/19, the track was then completed over the course of the pandemic, returning the band into the transatlantic roots they once started in. Emblematic of the leaps taken in life-altering decisions, ‘Set It Off, Set It Right’ is the sonic manifestation of momentum, a mantra for keeping faith, springboarded with booming percussion and vocals that build to finally take flight. Returning to the vibrance and pace of past tracks like ‘So Settled’ and ‘Fading’, ‘Set It Off, Set It Right’ see’s Vallis Alps right where they left off.
