“Past life” is the latest release from brothers and songwriters Princes to Kings. It is a guitar led, alternative track that builds from an intimate and minimal verse to an atmospheric climax. Fusing hypnotic, swirling synths with reverb drenched vocals to reflect the abstract and dreamlike idea of a past life. In this track they discuss the impossibility of moving on from past relationships because of how permanent the scars of lost love can be. This is the second release of 2023 and sees the band explore yet another sound.
