“‘Come My Way’ is a reflection of indulgence - giving in to temptation. It presents a period in my life chasing after intimacy, be it just fleeting moments.” Makazo recounts.
Combining elements of Hip-Hop and R&B, Makazo draws inspiration from artists like Bryson Tiller, The Weeknd and Drake to frame his journey of self exploration.
“Amidst these senseless activities and regrettable decisions, I let my vulnerability take over, one escapade leading to another. I couldn't stop; I was addicted to the thrill.” Makazo continues.
‘Come My Way’ is the third in a series of singles that are slated to be released over the course of 2023. These singles follow Makazo on his journey of self-discovery and reflection, culminating in his debut album 'gradient' in November 2023.
