Culenasm, which has been gaining momentum at an accelerated pace and developing enthusiastic releases, is releasing its 5th mini-album, "Whisper of the Heart”.
"Whisper of the heart," also the English title of the Ghibli film "耳をすませば", was named in the hope for Culenasm's listeners to feel to the sound, melody, and even the breath of the crystalline sounds, and vividly perceive the seasons, scenery, and stories contained in the music.
The artwork is also finished with graphics that visualize the sparkling feelings that Moei (Vocalist) feels when she listens to her favorite music.
Focus track "再去見你 (see you again)" was inspired by the Taiwan tour with the ally "Gestalt Girl" which was a great success recently.
This anthem "再去見你 (see you again)" was created with Shuta's thought, "What kind of scenery spreads out before us now that we have overcome the coronavirus pandemic".
The melody of the high pitched chorus of the song is emotional and moving.
The album will includes a total of eight songs, including the beautiful and sad ballad "ずっと変わらない愛を(zuttokawaranaiaiwo)" which depicts an everlasting and unchanging love with piano music and the sound of strings, written and composed by Moei.
With signs of autumn in the air after a long hot summer, the band has completed its 5th mini-album, which is like a collection of short stories with 8 gems of seasonal tales.
The band is scheduled to hold a solo tour called "Culenasm Autumn Bariyoka Solo Tour 2023" starting this fall, and their potential as a robust live band that emotionally expresses various types of music while being rooted in shoegaze is rapidly growing as well. Culenasm has been attracting a great deal of attention both inside and outside of Japan.
