Single from the Hexham, UK folk-rock singer and winner of the Anchor Award at the Reeperbahn Festival “Burn the Hard Drive” features fellow UK electronic pop songwriter Alexander Crossan, who performs as Mura Masa, and who co-wrote and produced the track. Follows second Jade Bird album Different Kinds of Light [2021], which reached #27 in the UK and received praise from NME, DIY, Clash [“joyous… vibrant vocal color”]. Jade Bird [2019], her debut album, topped “UK Americana.” Jade Bird performed at TECHNIKUM, Halpern Pop Festival, Appletree Garden Festival. The Independent wrote that she possessed “one of the most startlingly beautiful voices.” She’s been nominated for NME Awards, Americana Music Honors and Awards, and she won ”International Breakthrough” at the AIM Independent Music Awards.
