'Lovers Rock Remixes' captures the languor of a summer holiday destination

The melo-pop band Aquibird have released an album of 'Lovers Rock Remix', re-arranging their existing songs in a lovers rock style. Lovers rock is a sub-genre of reggae that developed in London in the mid-1970s, and Aquibird's lovers rock nonstop remix combines the distinctive rhythms and romantic sounds of reggae and soul, evoking a languid and sweet mood, as if lying under a parasol at a summer resort and dreaming.
