Dontaku Records is proud to announce the start of its new project, the “Neo Tokyo Pop Cafe” series! Tokyo-based music team “last spring.” will host the sessions, inviting talented vocalists from around the world. The first single is a cover of Maria Takeuchi's “Plastic Love” by Summer Soul, an up-coming singer from South Korea who has always said it was her favorite song. This world-famous song, which has been gaining attention among the younger generation due to the global city pop boom, is arranged in a lo-fi pop style and sung with a slightly sentimental and mature atmosphere this time.
