Uzuhan 정규 [THE UNCANNY]

 

Uzuhan의 THE UNCANNY에서는 한때는 매우 친숙하고 익숙했던 것이 어느 순간 두렵게 느껴지는, 그럼에도 불구하고 예전의 것으로 돌아가려 하는 인류의 모습을 탐구한 대중문화의 미적인 부분을 거울처럼 보여주는 앨범이다

이번 앨범은 클래식한 팝, 힙합 그리고 알앤비 사운드를 잘 녹였으며, 더불어 Year of the Ox의 Lyricks와 YG 엔터테인먼트의 히트 작곡가 중 한 명인 Lydia Paek, 그리고 Vincent Fable의 피처링, 마지막으로 프로덕션에서 Sam Ock (샘옥)과 Killawatts가 이번 앨범에 함께해주면서 완성도를 높였다.

 

THE UNCANNY, Uzuhan explores the aesthetics in popular culture which are frightening, repulsive, and distressing. He reflects on the class of experiences that terrify us but oddly lead back to something long known to us, once very familiar. THE UNCANNY is a mirror held up to humanity. Featuring Lyricks (from Year of the Ox), YG Entertainment hit song writer, Lydia Paek, and Vincent Fable with production from Sam Ock and Killawatts. This project is a classic fusion of pop, hip-hop, and r&b soundscapes.
