Lead single from Mercurial World [out 10/8], the debut album from the Los Angeles, CA electronic pop duo. “Chaeri,” which was written by Magdalena Bay singer Mica Tenenbaum and producer Matthew Lewin, concerns mental health, friendship, and loneliness. The single will premiere on The FADER. A Pitchfork Rising feature on Magdalena Bay will run in between “Chaeri” and the release of the next single. Further press attention for the duo from The Line of Best Fit [“devilishly fascinating to watch”], The New Yorker [“bubblegum-bright pop and hooky nineties-inspired sound”], MTV [“pure vintage pop”]. They’ll tour the Eastern US with George Clanton and Vitesse X in October.
