Single from Oochya [out spring 2022], the upcoming twelfth album from the Cwmaman, Wales rock band. Written by Stereophonics lead singer Kelly Jones alongside Jim Lowe and George Drakoulias [Ride, The Black Crowes, Primal Scream]. Follows Kind [2019], which topped the UK and Scottish charts, and was certified silver. Praise for the set from Uncut, Evening Standard, Classic Rock. Second album Performance and Cocktails [1999] was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize and won “Best Album” at the Kerrang! Awards. Stereophonics has had seven number one albums, they’ve sold 8.5M albums in the UK, they’ve been nominated for five BRIT Awards and won one, and they’ve sold millions of tickets to their shows. They’ll do a national arena tour in 2022.
