Based on the painful experience of having to make the call to put his dog down due to a cancerous tumour, ‘Don’t Bother’ is DEON’s way of coming to terms with this incident. Electronic beats take center stage alongside heartfelt vocals on the track, conveying an amalgamation of feelings ranging from guilt, to grief, to anger. The track is the second single from a new EP by DEON, scheduled for release in March 2022.
