Second single from Oochya [out spring 2022], the upcoming twelfth album from the Cwmaman, Wales rock band. Written by Stereophonics lead singer Kelly Jones alongside guitarist Adam Zindani, and produced by Jones alongside Grammy winner Jim Lowe [Taylor Swift, Dandy Warhols, The Charlatans]. Lead single “Hanging on Your Hinges” streamed upon release on Under the Radar, XS Noise [“distorted question-and-answer vocals and scuzzed-up guitars”]. Follows Kind [2019], which topped the UK and Scottish charts, and was certified silver. Praise for the set from Uncut, Evening Standard, Classic Rock. Second album Performance and Cocktails [1999] was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize and won “Best Album” at the Kerrang! Awards. Stereophonics have released seven #1 UK albums, they’ve sold 8.5M+ albums in the UK, they’ve been nominated for five BRIT Awards and won one, and they’ve sold millions of tickets to their shows. They’ll do a national arena tour in 2022.
