After releasing “Salty” as a runner up, BeepBeepChild is now delivering a laid back and airy denouement to complete the harlequin assembly that is the Project Taste - “Bitter”, out this November 12th.
BeepBeepChild has certainly tackled “Bitter” with a heartened touch. The song opens with a soft bossa nova-esque guitar motif over the shrill songs of cicadas that are met immediately by the fuzzy lo-fi vocals, paired with the signature BeepBeepChild’s electronic sounds. He is setting up an emotionally-induced atmosphere right from the start, slowly creating a soothing but bittersweet ambiance that evolves effortlessly with the song’s instrumentation. The listeners are also treated to a sonic switch up in the second half of the song, when tender piano arrangements and ethereal atmospherics take over, making up space for everyone to transport themselves in the trance of “Bitter” celestial melodies.
