Second single from Honey [out Jan. 27], the second album by the Nashville-via-NYC songwriter singer-songwriter with 70M+ total streams. Produced by Rostam of Vampire Weekend [HAIM, Clairo, Carly Rae Jepsen] and featuring Minneapolis pop singer papa mbye. Samia has been co-signed and/or playlisted by Phoebe Bridgers, Arlo Parks, Grimes, Maggie Rogers, and she's toured with Sylvan Esso, Lucy Dacus, Courtney Barnett. She'll tour the UK and EU with Maggie Rogers in Nov. before embarking on an headlining US tour in Feb./Mar. The album was produced by Caleb Wright of The Happy Children and features guest contributions from Christian Lee Hutson, Briston Maroney, Jake Luppen [Hippo Campus], and Raffaella. Samia's debut The Baby [2020] was named one of the best of the year by Paste and The Line Of Best Fit, and earned her further praise from Stereogum ["40 Best New Bands of 2020"], Pitchfork, NME, The Guardian, Brooklyn Vegan. It was followed by The Baby Reimagined [2021], which featured remixes by Bartees Strange, Palehound, The Districts, and others.
