2019년, 글렌체크의 활동 공백기 동안 혼자 작업한 곡들을 선별하여 유튜브에 업로드했다. 당시에는 앨범이라고 할 만큼 작업이나 업로드에 진지한 마음을 가지고 있지 않았기에, ‘믹스테이프’라고 하고 공개했으며, 별도의 프로모션이나 관련 활동도 전혀 없었다. 그러나 이후 많은 리스너들의 요청으로 인해 정식 발매를 결심하게 되었다.
