'The Joy Formidable' [AAARTH]

 

'Fourth album and Seradom debut from the Welsh trio. Lead single "Dance of the Lotus" and its accompanying video received coverage from Clash ["a spiralling, heavyweight return"], Consequence Of Sound, The Line Of Best Fit, Brooklyn Vegan, and others. The video for "The Wrong Side" premiered on Billboard. They'll tour North America in the fall and will also be joining the Foo Fighters on a stretch of their tour -- a result of a personal request made by Dave Grohl. They've previously toured with Editors, Passion Pit, Temper Trap. Their music was featured on the "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" film soundtrack. Previous album Hitch [2016 C'mon Let's Drift/Caroline Records] reached #12 on the UK's "Indie Albums" chart, #14 Billboard "Independent Albums."
