Viento' is the 26th album from Brisbane-based artist and label head (Room 40) Lawrence English. English is also a composer and curator working across an eclectic array of aesthetic investigations. 'Viento' is inspired by English's trip to Antarctica-via-Buenos Aires, an experience he describes as "life-altering", where he experienced adverse weather conditions including violent wind storms. This year marks the 10 year anniversary since those recordings which he has since "diffused on numerous occasions" - remixing and remastering the original works. The album features recordings from both Patagonia and Anatartica.
